## About the Role

* Degree qualified in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar
 * 5+ years of experience within avionics, embedded systems, electronics, or complex systems engineering
 * Strong background in integration, testing, or development of electronic systems
 * Experience working within high-reliability industries such as space, aerospace, defence, automotive, or similar
 * Understanding of systems engineering principles, interfaces, and V&V activities
 * Previous technical leadership or project ownership experience
 * Hands-on mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and support hardware integration activities
 * Strong communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams

## Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the development of an orbital-class launch system, taking ownership of onboard avionics systems across the full engineering lifecycle.

The Role

You ll act as a technical focal point across avionics and wider vehicle systems, working closely with systems engineering, GNC, propulsion, software, and ground support teams to deliver highly reliable flight hardware for a complex aerospace platform.

Responsibilities will include:

 * Leading avionics system design and integration activities
 * Defining interfaces between onboard electronics, vehicle subsystems, and ground systems
 * Supporting system architecture, requirements definition, and verification activities
 * Managing technical schedules, development priorities, and engineering coordination
 * Contributing to hardware/software trade studies and technical decision-making
 * Supporting testing, troubleshooting, installation, and validation of electronic systems
 * Working cross-functionally across multidisciplinary engineering teams
