Role Purpose Define and govern the right Azure AI architecture, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, compliant, and aligned to business outcomes. Core Responsibilities * Translate business requirements into Azure-native AI solution architectures * Design end-to-end architectures using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, ML, data platforms, compute, networking, and identity * Select and define architecture patterns (RAG, agentic workflows, streaming vs batch, hybrid approaches) * Ensure alignment with Azure best practices, security standards, compliance, and governance * Select and validate AI Factory accelerators for suitability and architectural fit * Review and approve technical designs before and during execution * Guide AI Engineers on design intent, trade-offs, and constraints * Own architectural decision-making and resolve design-level risks and blockers * Review solution readiness for UAT and production handover * Support customer technical discussions and build architecture confidence * This role requires the candidate who is already holding active Security Check (SC) clearance in accordance with UK Government standards.
