Strong Plus * Experience building internal tools or AI automation for GTM, recruiting, or operations. * Experience building multi-agent or long-running agent workflows. * Experience taking LLM-powered systems from prototype to reliable production usage. The defining characteristic we're looking for is product-minded engineering: someone who can look at a messy manual workflow, figure out what should and shouldn't be automated, and then build the system themselves. ## Description We're looking for a Senior AI Engineer to build the internal "AI brain" that powers how Sedrus operates - a connected system of agents, workflows, internal tools, and automations spanning GTM, CRM, recruiting, and company operations. This is a hands-on engineering role. We aren't looking for someone to experiment with prompts or build demos; we're looking for someone who can identify high-leverage workflows and ship reliable systems that eliminate manual work. What You'll Do You'll design and build internal AI-powered systems that connect tools, company data, and LLMs into reliable workflows. You'll: * Build an internal CRM and the automation layer around it. * Create GTM agents that automate call preparation, capture information from meetings, draft follow-ups, and keep pipeline data current. * Connect tools such as Granola, Notion, email, calendars, and other internal systems so information automatically flows to the right place. * Build recruiting agents that streamline sourcing, candidate research, screening, interview workflows, and administrative work. * Identify repetitive work across the company and turn it into automated workflows. * Design agentic systems that combine LLM reasoning with deterministic software and human approval where appropriate. * Build evaluation, observability, and failure-handling mechanisms so AI workflows can be trusted in production. * Work directly with leadership to identify what should be automated rather than waiting for detailed specifications. ## Related Videos - [HR ROBO SAPIENS: Decoding AI Agents and Workflow Automation for Modern Recruitment](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1470-hr-robo-sapiens-decoding-ai-agents-and-workflow-automation-for-modern-recruitment) - [Agentic employees in world's most downloaded FinTech app](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100123-agentic-employees-in-world-s-most-downloaded-fintech-app) - [Designing and Deploying Distributed Multimodal Multi-Agent Systems with Google's AI Stac](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1976-designing-and-deploying-distributed-multimodal-multi-agent-systems-with-google-s-ai-stac) - [Developing the Backend with Stefan Lingler, CTO at Shpock](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100360-developing-the-backend-with-stefan-lingler-cto-at-shpock) - [Building Scalable Multi-Agentic AI Systems in Java: Orchestrating Agents with Event-Driven Approach](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1967-building-scalable-multi-agentic-ai-systems-in-java-orchestrating-agents-with-event-driven-approach) - [Nest.js - TypeScript in the backend can also be clean](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1033-nest-js-typescript-in-the-backend-can-also-be-clean) ## Related Articles - [What Are Large Language Models?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/304-what-are-large-language-models) - [How to Become an AI Engineer](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/331-how-to-become-an-ai-engineer) - [What is Agentic Programming and Why Should Developers Care?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/625-what-is-agentic-programming-and-why-should-developers-care) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [13 AI Tools You Have to Try](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/219-13-ai-tools-you-have-to-try) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs)
