## About the Role

* 4-6 years of relevant system architecture or engineering experience.
 * Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
 * DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification.
 * Active TS/SCI clearance (with the ability to obtain a CI Poly within 6 months).

## Description

Join the D2 team as a System Architect and play a key role in designing and evolving Enterprise Cross Domain Systems (ECDS)-critical platforms that enable secure, reliable data transfers across domains. These systems support both everyday users and high-profile programs, making your work directly impactful to mission success.

In this role, you'll be more than an architect-you'll be a problem solver, innovator, and trusted advisor. From envisioning system designs to mentoring development teams, you'll help deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions that stand the test of time.

 * Design the future - Define and document system architectures for new products, features, and services.
 * Guide innovation - Conduct feasibility studies, evaluate risks, and develop long-term technical roadmaps.
 * Build for scale - Architect systems that handle high data volumes while ensuring top-notch performance.
 * Lead with expertise - Provide mentorship and technical guidance to development teams throughout the lifecycle.
 * Stay ahead of the curve - Explore emerging technologies and identify opportunities for modernization.
 * Protect the mission - Implement security measures that ensure reliability, availability, and data integrity.
 * Bridge the gap - Communicate complex technical ideas in clear, approachable ways for diverse stakeholders.
