## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
 * Level II: 3+ years of related experience.
 * Level III: 5+ years of related experience (8+ years preferred).
 * Strong experience developing applications in LabVIEW.
 * Experience designing and implementing Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
 * Experience with National Instruments PXI-based systems.
 * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
 * Experience with test system development, data acquisition, and hardware integration.
 * Understanding of avionics or industrial communication protocols such as:
 + CAN
 + ARINC 429
 + RS-232
 + I2C

Preferred Qualifications

 * Aerospace, defense, avionics, or other highly regulated industry experience.
 * National Instruments LabVIEW certification.
 * Experience with TestStand, C#, Python, or similar development environments.
 * Experience with analog and digital circuit design.
 * Experience supporting manufacturing test environments.
 * Familiarity with configuration management and verification processes.

## Description

The Test Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of automated test equipment and test processes used to validate electronic and avionics-related products. This individual will work across hardware and software disciplines to develop reliable, scalable, and efficient testing solutions while partnering with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.

 * Develop test procedures, validation plans, and technical documentation.
 * Troubleshoot test systems and identify root causes of product and equipment issues.
 * Support new product development, sustaining engineering, and manufacturing operations.
 * Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve testing processes.
 * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and operational excellence.
 * Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance (Level III).
