## About the Role

* Minimum of an associate degree in computer/network related field
 * Experience in the listed responsibilities
 * Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a team as well as work independently
 * Have good communication skills
 * Prior experience working with computers, equipment, networks and software
 * The following certifications would be beneficial: CompTIA certifications (A+, Network+, Security+), Apple, Cisco

## Description

* Work with the Director of Technology and other technicians to plan and maintain network, equipment, technology policies, hardware, software,
 * Provides technical support and training to staff
 * Respond to technology request tickets and make sure request records are up-to-date.
 * Install/maintain/troubleshoot/repair all technology including hardware, software, peripherals (smartboards, projectors, document cameras, printers)
 * Install /maintain/troubleshoot/repair network hardware and wireless networks
 1. Have knowledge of TCP/IP usage
 2. Have knowledge of routing and switching
 * Assist with administration of network directory service including user accounts and network
 * Participate in continuing education in effort to stay current with district
