Your focus will be on driving Java and Spring Boot-based services, APIs, and integrations that power scalable fintech applications, while staying close enough to the front-end to guide smooth end-to-end delivery. You'll also drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices, setting the tone for how others on your team should leverage AI for code quality, reviews, and system design.Throughout the day, you'll lead technical design discussions, provide high-level estimates (LOEs), and prioritize features versus technical debt. You'll unblock developers, assign work, and ensure test coverage and documentation are complete. You'll coordinate across teams on large-scale service dependencies, guide code reviews, and troubleshoot complex production issues. By day's end, you'll review pull requests, mentor engineers, and refine sprint goals, balancing hands-on coding in the back-end stack with setting the technical direction of the team.
