## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study.
 * 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
 * Experience with:
o Networking (Basic routing, use of Cisco IOS, knowledge of VPNs)
o Administering Linux / CentOS (RHCSA preferred)
o Configuring/managing cryptographic devices
o Key management systems/PKI concepts
o VPN tunneling, SSH
o Monitoring tools and their implementation (e.g., Snort)

 * U.S. citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with Government Crypto devices.
 * Security Certifications (CISSP, CompTIA+, Security+).

## Description

* Perform configuration and set up of cryptographic devices in a variety of network systems and environments
 * Perform functional and performance testing of devices to determine suitability with operational military capabilities
 * Develop test reports
 * Answer technical queries and assist Navy users
 * Create/Maintain documentation of system configuration
