## About the Role

Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.

 - Minimum 4 years of professional experience working with Apache Kafka.

 - Strong experience with:

 - Java 8+

 - Spring Boot

 - Spring Framework

 - Microservices architecture

 - Functional Programming

 - JPA

 - Software Design

 - Testing methodologies (TDD and/or BDD)

 - Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as:

 - PostgreSQL

 - Oracle

 - MongoDB

 - Knowledge of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.

 - English level B2 or higher.

 - Availability to participate in a rotational 24/7 on-call support schedule.

Nice to Have:

 - Knowledge of Reactive Programming.

 - Experience with API design and specification standards (OAS3/OpenAPI).

 - Additional technical skills or experience that can bring value to the project.

 - Experience working in complex enterprise environments.

## Description

A passionate and experienced software engineer with strong expertise in Java microservices architectures and Apache Kafka, eager to contribute to high-impact projects while working with modern technologies and best development practices., Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices-based applications.

 - Develop and optimize event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.

 - Apply software design principles and best practices to ensure high-quality solutions.

 - Implement and maintain applications using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.

 - Participate in code reviews, testing strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.

 - Collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile teams.

 - Contribute to software architecture decisions and technical designs.

 - Participate in the team´s rotational 24/7 on-call support schedule (approximately one week every 3-4 months).
