You will play a key role in safeguarding our AWS cloud environment, ensuring our systems remain secure, resilient, and fully compliant with financial regulations. Responsibilities * Operate and optimise a wide range of security platforms, including SIEM, XDR, EDR, IAM, DLP, PAM, ZTNA, and vulnerability management tools. * Take ownership of the detection and response lifecycle - triage alerts, investigate incidents, identify root causes, and coordinate response actions. * Implement and manage security controls across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments, aligning with frameworks such as ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS. * Build and maintain clear, actionable dashboards and reports for technical and leadership teams, covering threats, vulnerabilities, incident trends, and control effectiveness. * Ensure documentation is tight - runbooks, playbooks, SOPs, and other artefacts are kept up-to-date. * Support internal and external audits, providing evidence and reporting to demonstrate control effectiveness. * Drive the FCA principle of Consumer Duty by ensuring good customer outcomes in all security activities that may impact customers.
