## About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our technology team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing servers, supporting infrastructure, and solving complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid foundation in system administration with room to grow into more advanced responsibilities., * 3-5 years of hands-on systems administration experience

 * Strong proficiency with Windows Server and/or Linux distributions
 * Experience managing Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file services
 * Hands-on virtualization experience (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms)
 * Understanding of storage systems (SAN/NAS), RAID, snapshots, and failover clustering
 * Experience with scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash) for automation
 * Familiarity with backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, Datto, etc.)
 * Knowledge of server monitoring tools (PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.)
 * Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
 * Excellent written and verbal communication
 * Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and collaborate with IT teams
 * Relevant certifications (MCSA, MCSE, VMware, Linux+) are a plus

## Description

* Manage and maintain Windows and/or Linux server environments including patching, updates, and performance monitoring
 * Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file shares, and permission structures
 * Support virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V, including VM creation, tuning, and maintenance
 * Oversee backup operations, disaster recovery testing, and storage systems
 * Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvement projects
 * Monitor server health, performance metrics, and resource utilization
 * Troubleshoot server failures, authentication issues, and network-related system problems
 * Maintain accurate documentation including configurations, diagrams, and SOPs
 * Collaborate with network, help desk, and security teams to resolve escalated support issues
 * Ensure systems comply with organizational security policies and standards
