Reporting to the VP of Project Development & Delivery, the Senior Data Center Development Engineer role sits at the center of site origination, master planning, and front-end engineering-turning early-stage opportunities into build-ready projects.

 + Drive front-end engineering to ensure designs are scalable, buildable, and operationally efficient
 + Translate development opportunities into technically sound, execution-ready plans
 + Partner across development, engineering, innovation, and construction teams
 + Manage architectural and engineering consultants from concept through detailed design
 + Ensure alignment with IREN's design roadmap, codes, and regulatory requirements
 + Support site due diligence, feasibility studies, and design standardization efforts
 + Facilitate smooth handover from development to delivery
