You will work as a part of a team at client or project job sites to ensure proper installation of controls systems, as well as provide diagnostic and repair services. Record and report time, materials, faults, deficiencies, or other unusual occurrences on work orders. Complete customer service and expense reports. Document operational activities. Compile job documentation, such as certificate of completion, customer training forms, training certificates and punch lists. Provide sketches or make drawing modifications as needed for accurate project documentation. Repair/Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts. Discuss heating or cooling system malfunction with user to isolate problems or to verify that repairs corrected the issues. Recommend, develop, or perform preventive or general maintenance procedures, such as cleaning, tightening terminals, or vacuuming control panels. Advise others on issues related to repairs, installation, or equipment design.
