## About the Role

* 2+ years of experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting sof tware develop ment to modernize systems
 * 2+ years of experience in sof tware develop ment using basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web develop ment stacks
 * Experience with Agile met hodology, extreme programming, sof tware engineering, product management, and sof tware products
 * Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
 * Knowledge of develop ing and maintaining the technology needed to power the components which enable the user-facing side of enterprise applications databases, conceptualize and implement data storage solutions, run performance testing and benchmarking, and optimize data performance
 * Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
 * Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in sof tware engineering in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

 * Experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, Python, Server-Side Develop ment, Middleware, Application or Data Integration, API Develop ment, Core Application Systems, Node.js, Groovy, Scala, Spring Cloud, Spring Core, Spring-Boot, or Spring Data
 * Ability to write source code for new applications or generate and enhance code samples for existing applications
 * Ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization
 * Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
 * Secret clearance
