As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom. ## Description * Lead and deliver data science projects from start to finish, that provide valuable insights and benefits for the business. * Create data science solutions, making sure models are developed, deployed, and monitored effectively using strong MLOps practices. * Find opportunities and problems where data science can make a real difference. * Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in AI, data science and machine learning through reading, conferences, and industry news. * Share knowledge and ideas by researching best practices, testing new concepts, and working with industry experts. * Build connections with universities and contribute to open-source projects to keep the team innovative. * Help develop and promote the team's data science strategies and standards. * Manage and support a team of data scientists, helping them grow and develop their skills. Work arrangements: At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) from December 2026. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.
