## About the Role

* Several years of experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering
 * Strong Linux systems administration experience
 * Good knowledge of AWS and/or Azure
 * Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible or similar tools
 * Solid networking fundamentals
 * Experience supporting production infrastructure
 * Python or other scripting experience
 * A practical approach to troubleshooting and problem solving
 * A can-do mentality, curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies
 * Ability to take ownership and work across multiple infrastructure areas
 * Ability to solve problems collaboratively and understand how the business works
 * Nice to have: experience within financial services.

Описание: Referment is partnering with a quantitative investment firm where infrastructure is treated as a competitive advantage and engineers build and operate core technology platforms.

Задачи

 * Design, build and operate hybrid infrastructure across AWS, Azure and on-premise environments
 * Design and improve cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure
 * Build secure, resilient and scalable platforms for production workloads
 * Work on cloud networking, including routing, connectivity, DNS and hybrid infrastructure
 * Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting
 * Drive improvements in monitoring, observability and incident response
 * Own infrastructure lifecycle management, including upgrades, patching and resilience
 * Work with networking, security and development teams to deliver practical engineering solutions
 * Evaluate new technologies and help shape the platform's future technical direction.
