The ideal candidate will be a strong hands-on Java/Spring Boot backend engineer with solid SQL and database expertise and working knowledge of Angular. This role is approximately 80% backend and 20% frontend, making strong backend development experience essential. Candidates with experience in Portfolio Management, Investment Management, Wealth Management, Brokerage, Asset Management, or related financial-services applications are strongly preferred., * Strong hands-on experience with Java. * Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework. * Strong knowledge of REST APIs and microservices. * Strong SQL and relational database experience. * Experience with Angular or similar modern frontend frameworks. * Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles. * Experience developing enterprise-scale applications. * Strong communication and problem-solving skills., * Experience in Portfolio Management or Investment Management. * Financial-services, banking, brokerage, wealth-management, or asset-management experience. * Experience working with investment or financial platforms. * Experience with cloud technologies and modern DevOps practices. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Work Arrangement * Remote work is available. * Candidates must be comfortable with occasional hybrid work if required. * Candidates should be flexible regarding potential onsite requirements. Contract Details * Initial contract duration: 5-6 months * Contract-to-Hire potential for qualified candidates. * C2C may be considered; candidates who can support potential direct conversion are preferred.
