Job Summary: As an Android Developer, you will build high-quality, secure, performant Android applications that integrate seamlessly with backend services, cloud environments, and the team's broader mobile ecosystem. You'll partner closely with Mobile Development Software Engineers who lead native app architecture, platform configuration, offline-sync strategies, security controls, testing frameworks, and mobile release pipelines. You'll contribute to modernizing existing mission apps and building new mobile capabilities that support field personnel, public-health operations, and device-centric workflows., * Build, maintain, and optimize native Android applications using Kotlin or Java, aligned to architecture patterns defined by Mobile Dev SEs. * Implement offline synchronization, secure authentication flows, encrypted local storage, and robust API integration patterns. * Develop responsive, user-focused mobile interfaces with careful attention to performance, usability, and maintainability. * Partner with embedded software engineers to integrate mobile features with device-level functionality, hardware interactions, or specialized platform configurations (as applicable by project). * Work with backend and cloud engineers to build secure mobile-to-API pipelines, handle data serialization, and support scalable service interactions. * Participate in Agile ceremonies; collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including security, DevOps, cloud, and product owners., What's your citizenship / employment eligibility?* What's your highest level of education completed?* College or University* Are you 18 years of age or older?
