For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled. 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect quality level experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Quality experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Examples of creditable experience include the ability to plan, organize, and develop required organizational programs that comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet mission and customer needs; provide expert technical advice on advance IT principles, methods, and standards to oversee the execution of the applicable exercises and management programs; build, standardize, and design data products, processes, or additional program procedures to baseline organizational program management and implementation to support global operational cyberspace participation activities and the optimization of IT assets and processes; develop organizational goals and objectives that often deviate from traditional methods due to a lack of specific policies and processes or the identification of current enterprise cyber trends and/or technical innovation integration; meet with key customer and coordinating officials to assess customer satisfaction, explain organization policy and procedures, and resolve problems that arise; and exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency., * Knowledge of enterprise cyberspace IT systems analysis and applications software concepts, functions, techniques, and capabilities sufficient to evaluate new and emerging cyberspace security methods and principles, the feasibility of proposed new systems and applications projects; and to design, write, test, debug, and maintain information systems and applications and ensure successful integration with existing and anticipated infrastructure in the database environment. * Knowledge of operational activities, cyberspace weapon systems, and enterprise information systems process, systems, and applications. * Knowledge of federal organizations, agencies, and the DoD involved with and responsible for Cyberspace policy formulation and implementation as it applies to USAF Cyberspace missions, exercises, and ranges * Knowledge of IT management information systems requirements and application development techniques required in carrying out project assignments of considerable difficulty and with little specificity regarding approach to be followed. * Ability to maintain an up-to-date awareness of technological advances and predict how management can meet future requirements. * Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization, along with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONTINUED: Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement. ## Description * Plans, organizes, and develops required organizational programs that comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet mission and customer needs. * Develop, analysis, modification, tracking, and implementation of Wing, MAJCOM, USAF, and DoD agency information processes and information technology systems and standards for use worldwide. * Represents Operations Support Squadron and Cyberspace Wing with a variety of squadron, installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with Combatant Commands, Major Commands (MAJCOM), Numbered Air Forces (NAF), and other DoD agencies. * Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
