## About the Role

* Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and proficient applied experience
 * Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
 * Working knowledge and experience in backend development using Java and Spring
 * Working knowledge and experience in frontend development using React and front-end testing frameworks
 * Experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka
 * Familiarity with automation and continuous delivery methods
 * Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
 * Working knowledge of agile methodologies such as continuous integration/continuous delivery, application resiliency, and security
 * Practical cloud-native experience
 * Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools within the work environment (e.g., for coding, testing, troubleshooting, or documentation) with demonstrated ability to critically evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs
 * Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations, * Experience working within asset management, wealth management, or client-facing financial technology platforms
 * Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
 * Exposure to event-driven architecture and distributed systems design
 * Experience with modern front-end component libraries and design systems

Your role will involve contributing to technical solutions, applying software engineering best practices, and fostering a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. Together, we'll deliver solutions that support the firm's business objectives., * Develop creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build solutions and solve technical problems

 * Contribute to expanding the digital experience offered to clients
 * Develop secure, high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others
 * Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
