Technical Lead/Architect (C#/.Net) - Sheffield - New Role! (REF01)

A market leading organization in the Sheffield area requires a Technical Lead/Architect to join its growing and successful team!

Qualifications

 * Substantial commercial experience in software development using C#/.NET.
 * Experience of leading on technical decisions.
 * Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 * Comfortable with git version control.
 * Process driven.
 * Flexible approach and positive attitude.
 * Experience with as many of the following as possible:
 * ORM (NHibernate, Entity Framework, etc.)
 * SQL Server or other relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
 * DevExpress components (Desirable).
 * Familiar with developer tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence.

Duties

 * Being technical lead for a number of leading products.
 * Setting and maintaining architectural standards.
 * Writing and reviewing code.
 * Creating a long-term strategy for modernising the code base.
 * Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
 * Building strong relationships with customers (will include customer site visits, conference visits and support at product user groups).
