About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading enterprise organization undergoing large-scale digital transformation, is seeking an experienced Application Architect to drive application modernization initiatives with a strong focus on AWS migration.

This is a high-impact contract role supporting complex environments within a multi-supplier ecosystem. You will play a critical role in shaping target-state architecture and guiding modernization strategy.

Key Responsibilities

 * Lead application modernization initiatives and cloud migration strategies
 * Design and document reference architectures aligned to AWS best practices
 * Conduct architecture impact assessments across complex environments
 * Produce architectural artefacts to support design decisions and governance
 * Collaborate within a multi-supplier delivery model
 * Provide technical direction for legacy-to-cloud transitions
 * Support architectural governance and ensure alignment to enterprise standards

Required Experience

 * Proven experience leading AWS migration programs
 * Strong background in application architecture within enterprise environments
 * Experience working in a multi-vendor / multi-supplier ecosystem
 * Demonstrated ability to create:
 + Reference architectures
 + Architectural decision records
 + Impact analysis documentation
 * 5-10 years of relevant experience
