Are you an experienced Android Developer ready to join a major Engineering Transformation programme at one of the UK's leading banks?

My client is looking for a skilled contractor with strong Kotlin/Java expertise to help shape and deliver cutting-edge Android applications in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You'll Be Working On:

 * Building and maintaining advanced Android apps using Kotlin, Java, and frameworks like RxJava
 * Designing with architecture patterns such as MVP, MVVM, or MVI
 * Handling the full app lifecycle - from modules through to Play Store deployment
 * Optimising mobile experiences across a range of screen sizes and Android versions
 * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features
 * Integrating APIs and external data sources
 * Writing unit tests, squashing bugs, and improving performance
 * Staying ahead with the latest tools and trends in Android development

You'll Need:

 * Solid experience with Kotlin and Android architecture components
 * Strong understanding of app lifecycle and mobile UI/UX best practices
 * Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, data structures, and design patterns; proficiency in Java application development
