 * Data Frameworks & Privacy: Practical knowledge of end-to-end data management (DAMA DMBOK principles) and global GDPR compliance.
 * Tech Stack Familiarity: Intermediate understanding of tools like Tableau, Power BI or Looker.
 * Change Management (Desirable): Experience applying structured frameworks like Prosci or ADKAR to drive organisational adoption.

My leading client needs a Data Governance Lead (Alation exp.) specialist contractor with proven experience in embedding data governance and data literacy and/or data culture into an organisation

Key Deliverables

 * Training Pathways: Create and deliver a data literacy curriculum and structured learning modules for different user skill levels.
 * Data Portal Management: Curate our data catalogue and business glossary, partnering with vendors and product teams to increase user adoption.
 * Departmental Onboarding: Build tailored tool and dashboard onboarding plans for internal business functions.
 * Data Community: Nurture an internal network of "Data Champions" to promote peer-to-peer learning and data culture.
