## About the Role

* 10+ years of infrastructure engineering experience with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure.
 * Extensive experience designing and supporting Azure cloud architecture.
 * Hands-on experience provisioning and managing Azure resources (VMs, Networking, Storage, Load Balancers, Azure Backup, etc.).
 * Strong experience troubleshooting application connectivity, infrastructure, and performance issues.
 * Experience with Azure Backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
 * Strong knowledge of Azure networking, identity (Entra ID/Azure AD), monitoring, and infrastructure best practices.

Desired Skills & Domain Experience

 * MBI Clearance required.
 * Federal/Government project experience preferred.
 * Experience supporting enterprise Azure environments in regulated or compliance-driven organizations.
 * Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent) preferred.
 * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM/Bicep) and automation using PowerShell is a plus.

## Description

* Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and architecture.
 * Provision and manage Azure resources, including compute, storage, networking, and identity services.
 * Partner with application teams to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity, infrastructure, and performance issues.
 * Manage backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
 * Monitor infrastructure health, optimize performance, and implement capacity planning recommendations.
 * Support infrastructure security, patching, and compliance with organizational standards.
 * Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
 * Provide technical guidance and support for cloud modernization and infrastructure initiatives.
