Demonstrated experience utilizing configuration management tools in the development of software (e.g. Git/Gitlab/etc.). Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as System requirements, Use Cases, and SysML diagrams. Security+ or equivalent certification may be required within 60 days of starting. Must currently hold an ACTIVE DoD Final Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position. Desired skills Experience in the following: Missile Defense Domain experience Design and development of real-time Java applications. Developing new capabilities into a legacy software system. Development of complex mathematical algorithms from design documents. SW analysis against performance requirements. Resolving cyber/security issues identified by Fortify/SonarQube/etc. Maven or Gradle. Automated unit testing frameworks. ## Description The C2BMC-Regional Application Agile Release Train is seeking a software engineer that will thrive in a fast paced team environment in the design, development, and testing of the C2BMC applications. Under minimal direction, provides specialized expertise within multiple systems, software disciplines, as well as general knowledge of related disciplines, applications implications, and customer areas. Common responsibilities of a software engineer on the RA ART team include: Design and develop new Java applications; Maintain existing Java applications Support software testing and resolution of issues from multiple baselines Perform in-depth analysis and technical support of systems software products, including complex problem resolution Works from system specifications to develop or modify operating systems applications Assist with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of programs Interface with other system support groups Generate software design artifacts and support design and code reviews, Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
