For candidates whose background is outside the Intelligence Community, the position calls for approximately 10 years of related Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, or Software Engineering experience supporting the government or a government contractor. Preferred Qualifications Additional experience in the following areas is highly valued: * DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) * ACAS, Splunk, ArcSight, HBSS, and related enterprise cybersecurity technologies * CVE, plugin, and IAVA analysis * COTS/GOTS software security and due diligence * Multi-Level Security (MLS) solutions * Enterprise security service integration and asset onboarding * Complex embedded systems * CISSP certification * Ability to independently investigate and resolve complex cybersecurity issues ## Description Legion Technical Solutions is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support one of the nation's premier aerospace, defense, and intelligence technology organizations in Aurora, Colorado. You'll join an engineering team supporting a high-priority 24x7 operational system within the Intelligence Community. This role combines hands-on cybersecurity engineering, RMF/A&A, vulnerability management, continuous monitoring, and technical risk analysis across multiple classified environments. The ISSE will help identify vulnerabilities, assess cyber risk, drive remediation, and provide leadership with actionable information needed to maintain the security posture of mission-critical systems.
