Please reach out to discuss what works for you. ## Description About the role You will work as a forward deployed engineer embedded within a security-focused capability unit, designing, building, and deploying AI-powered tools that drive measurable improvements in cyber security and fraud prevention. Working closely with technical teams and operational stakeholders, you will turn requirements into governed, production-ready solutions delivered on approved cloud platforms. This is a hands-on engineering contract - you will own work from prototyping through to deployment, contributing to a mission-critical security programme at scale. Core technical skills Deploying and managing solutions in AWS using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), maintaining compliance with governance and security standards. Configuring and managing GitLab CI pipelines to automate testing, infrastructure provisioning, and deployment across environments. Testing practices Implementing unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure reliability, correctness, and reproducibility across all release cycles. Observability & incident response Working with monitoring tooling and incident workflows to track system health, detect anomalies, and respond to failures in real time. Experience with large-scale data storage and querying - relational and non-relational - within secure, governed cloud environments. AI & ML integration Building and deploying AI-powered capabilities, ideally in a security, fraud, or operational context within a regulated environment.
