## About the Role

* Strong commercial experience developing modern full-stack applications.
 * Strong React.js skills and experience with Next.js or a similar framework.
 * Experience developing Back End services and APIs with Node.js.
 * A solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns and maintainable application architecture.
 * Experience with cloud technologies; Microsoft Azure experience would be advantageous.
 * Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code.
 * Experience with automated testing and modern quality-engineering practices.
 * Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and the AI-enabled software development life cycle.
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
 * Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.

Desirable experience

 * Financial services or asset management.
 * High-traffic digital platforms and websites.
 * Headless content management systems and SaaS search providers.
 * Python, serverless technologies or cloud-native architectures.
 * Application monitoring and observability.
 * Working with Marketing, Sales or Digital teams.
 * Globally distributed technology teams.

About you

You will be pragmatic, curious and focused on outcomes. You can balance technical excellence with changing business priorities and are comfortable taking a problem from initial analysis through to a reliable production solution.

You will enjoy collaborating with others, sharing ideas and challenging existing approaches while also being capable of working independently and taking ownership of your delivery.
