## About the Role

* Previous experience in an IT support or IT Technician role.
 * Experience working within a school or education setting is desirable but not essential.
 * Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
 * Experience supporting networks, printers and end-user devices.
 * Excellent communication and customer service skills.
 * Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
 * Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently.

## Description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional who enjoys providing technical support in a busy school environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring staff and pupils have access to reliable IT systems and equipment to support teaching and learning., As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for:

 * Providing first and second-line IT support to staff and students.
 * Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software and network equipment.
 * Setting up laptops, desktops, tablets, printers and other ICT equipment.
 * Managing user accounts, passwords and permissions.
 * Supporting classroom technology, including interactive whiteboards and AV equipment.
 * Assisting with Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems and school management software.
 * Maintaining accurate IT asset records and documentation.
 * Diagnosing and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
 * Supporting cyber security and data protection procedures.
 * Liaising with external IT providers where required.
