Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive technical decision-making while ensuring alignment with commercial and manufacturing considerations. ## Description Responsibilities * Provide technical leadership for the development of advanced monitoring, protection, recording, and analytics solutions. * Own the system and hardware architecture for complex embedded products. * Define system-level requirements, architectures, interfaces, and technical strategies. * Allocate requirements across hardware, mechanical, manufacturing, and test disciplines. * Partner closely with Firmware and Software Architects to ensure alignment of architectures. * Drive system-level trade-off decisions involving performance, reliability, accuracy, cybersecurity, manufacturability, and cost. * Define sensing, signal acquisition, processing, communications, timing, storage, and power architectures for complex embedded systems. * Lead architecture reviews, design reviews, and technical governance activities throughout the product lifecycle. * Develop platform strategies that maximize technology reuse across multiple product families. * Support New Product Introduction (NPI), sustaining engineering, and product enhancement initiatives. * Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence through standards and best practices.
