You'll oversee a small internal team, manage external delivery partners, and continuously improve how we integrate, warehouse, and support business intelligence on our data using the Microsoft ecosystem, that aligns with the organisation's business goals. Key Responsibilities * Lead and develop the Data Integrations, Data Warehouse, and Business Intelligence team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. * Manage third-party providers who perform much of the hands-on build and support work, ensuring quality and alignment to standards. * Partner with business stakeholders across functions to understand data needs and deliver reliable, actionable information - helping the organisation gain value from the data within our business systems. * Oversee BAU operations (data pipelines, refreshes, access) while driving incremental enhancements to data models, integrations, and processes. * Own and evolve our Microsoft-based data environment, including: * Integrations: iPaaS solutions and Azure Logic Apps * Data warehouse: Azure SQL * Business intelligence: Power BI and related reporting tools * This role involves leading data governance, analytics, and data management initiatives, ensuring that data is effectively utilized to drive strategic decision-making across the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of data architecture, and a proven ability to leverage data for business insights. * Ensure the organisation adheres to the key principles of information management, particularly Accountability, Integrity, Compliance and Usability. * Contribute to long-term data architecture, tooling, and automation strategy. * Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to data and analytics, and drive innovation within the organisation making use of approaches such as proof of concept to demonstrate value. * Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and feedback loops to measure and report on the success of Data and Information initiatives, continuously improving data practices.
