They design, build, operate and continually improve the platforms that underpin critical services. Working across infrastructure, automation, operations and security, they ensure our environments remain resilient, scalable and secure. This role provides the opportunity to work on complex engineering challenges within large-scale environments where reliability, security and performance are essential. Whether supporting existing platforms or helping shape future capability, you'll play a key role in delivering technology that matters. Note: This role requires eligibility for UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. As a result, applicants must typically be sole British citizens and have lived in the UK continuously for the previous 10 years, subject to UK Government vetting requirements. What you'll be doing * Design, build, support and continuously improve infrastructure platforms that enable critical services. * Contribute to the automation of operational processes, reducing manual effort and increasing platform reliability. * Support the delivery of platform modernisation and transformation initiatives. * Collaborate with architecture, security and software engineering teams to implement effective technical solutions. * Monitor platform health, identify opportunities for optimisation and drive continuous improvement. * Troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to long-term resolution strategies. * Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards and reusable engineering practices. * Share knowledge and contribute positively to the engineering community through collaboration and mentoring.
