This isn't incremental improvement: it's a full-stack architecture of the fastest crypto trading system on the planet, where every nanosecond is contested ground and every cache miss is a bug. Their engineers operate where nanoseconds decide P&L; measured, profiled, and deployed in live markets where performance is the only edge. They're now seeking an elite Trading Software Engineer capable of designing and optimising the core of a real-time execution platform; a system that ingests millions of market events per second and executes transactions deterministically faster than anyone else on Earth. The Successful Engineer Will: * Architect zero-copy, lock-free pipelines built around ring buffers and cache-aligned data structures * Develop custom market data connectivity for crypto exchanges and protocols, tuned for single-digit microsecond latency * Engineer execution algorithms and order management with branch-prediction awareness and SIMD-optimised pricing logic * Deliver nanosecond-precision timestamps and cross-system synchronisation across distributed infrastructure * Collaborate with quantitative researchers to merge sophisticated trading strategies with execution velocity The Toolkit * Primarily C++ focused, but we're equally interested in engineers with deep Rust backgrounds * Profiling and optimisation using perf, VTune, and flamegraphs * Deep knowledge of concurrency, lock-free structures, memory ordering, and real-time scheduling * Expertise in custom allocator design, CPU cache behaviour, and profile-guided optimisation * A habit of benchmarking rigorously: data over assumptions Ideal Background * Proven experience building ultra-low latency systems in trading or high-frequency domains * Deep understanding of market microstructure and crypto asset behaviour * The mindset of someone who thinks in microseconds and measures in CPU cycles * Experience optimising global distributed systems operating under strict latency SLAs * Comfort driving technical projects from concept to production at scale ## Related Videos - [Profiling Symfony & PHP apps with Blackfire](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/265-profiling-symfony-php-apps-with-blackfire) - [Concurrency with Go](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/191-concurrency-with-go) - [Swapping Low Latency Data Storage Under High Load](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/746-swapping-low-latency-data-storage-under-high-load) - [Single Server, Global Reach: Running a Worldwide Marketplace on Bare Metal in a Cloud-Dominated World](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1206-single-server-global-reach-running-a-worldwide-marketplace-on-bare-metal-in-a-cloud-dominated-world) - [C++ in constrained environments](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/441-c-in-constrained-environments) - [Enhancing Workload Security in Kubernetes](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/356-enhancing-workload-security-in-kubernetes) ## Related Articles - [How We Built a Worry-Free System That Runs for 10+ Years – And What We’d Do Again](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/751-how-we-built-a-worry-free-system-that-runs-for-10-years-and-what-we-d-do-again) - [Dev Digest 138 - Are you secure about this?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/486-dev-digest-138-are-you-secure-about-this) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Why Blockchain?
