## About the Role

* Strong hands-on experience with Java (core) and Spring Boot
 * Proven track record building and maintaining microservices architectures

## Description

Location: London (team based) | Remote from Manchester / Edinburgh considered

Contract: 6 Months

Overview

We are looking for multiple experienced Java Software Engineers (up to 9 roles) to join a high-performing engineering team within a leading retail banking organisation. You will be working on modern, cloud-native platforms delivering scalable digital banking solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to customer-facing applications, with a strong focus on microservices architecture, continuous delivery, and full-stack development.

Key Responsibilities

 * Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot
 * Build scalable and resilient solutions aligned with modern engineering best practices
 * Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and drive Continuous Deployment practices
 * Deliver production-ready, cloud-native solutions on AWS
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, DevOps, and QA
 * Ensure code quality through testing, automation, and code reviews

Required Skills & Experience
