## Description

We're building LLM-powered workflow tools to support investment research for private market investors, used by leading private equity and consulting firms globally. The company is profitable, bootstrapped, and growing quickly, with a team of 30+ across London, NYC, and Sydney.

The Role

This is a high-ownership backend engineering role focused on building and scaling systems that power an AI-driven research platform.

You'll work across backend systems, data pipelines, integrations, and internal infrastructure - partnering closely with product, commercial, and operations teams to automate workflows and improve decision-making.

What You'll Do

 * Design and scale backend systems supporting LLM workflows, vector search, and orchestration
 * Build data pipelines and internal platforms integrating product, CRM, and financial systems
 * Develop automation and internal tooling to improve company efficiency
 * Own systems end-to-end - from architecture to production
 * Contribute to engineering culture and technical direction

Example Projects

 * Customer Health System: unify product usage, CRM, and feedback into actionable insights
 * User Feedback Pipeline: process calls with LLMs to extract themes and product insights
 * Billing Infrastructure: build systems for complex B2B pricing and automated invoicing
 * Internal Data Platform: create reliable pipelines and APIs for reporting and operations

About You

 * Based in London (or willing to relocate)
 * Experience owning backend systems end-to-end
 * Strong in Python or TypeScript
