Software Team Lead/Manager (C#/.Net) - Sheffield - New Role! (REF37)

A market leading organisation in the Tech4Good space requires a Software Team Leader/Manager to join its growing and successful team!

Suitable candidates will have the following experience:

 * Strong commercial experience in software development using C# .NET, coupled with circa 2 years experience in a leadership/management role.
 * Experience leading technical decisions.
 * Excellent communication skills and the abilities to convey concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 * Comfortable with Git version control.
 * Process driven.
 * Flexible approach and positive attitude.
 * Familiar with developer tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence.

Note: This section validates capacity to lead teams and set architectural direction.

Responsibilities

 * Leading two software development teams and helping to drive projects forward.
 * Managing and mentoring software developers.
 * Setting and maintaining architectural standards.
 * Writing and reviewing code.
 * Creating a long-term strategy for modernising the code base.
 * Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
 * Building strong relationships with customers (will include customer site visits, conference visits and supporting at product user groups).
