## About the Role

* 3+ years' experience in structured cabling / Data Centre environments
 * Strong fibre installation and testing skills (Fluke experience)
 * Understanding of patching schedules and rack builds
 * Valid CSCS/ECS (or equivalent) certification
 * Industry qualifications (e.g. BICSI, CNET, City & Guilds) and manufacturer accreditations
 * Willing to travel within the UK and Overseas

## Description

Onsite in either: Birmingham, Reading, Peterborough, Manchester or Leeds

Contract: ASAP - UPTO 6 months

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cabling / Smart Hands Engineer to support Data Centre and IT infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

 * Install, terminate and test fibre optic and structured cabling
 * Rack and stack network equipment (switches, routers, servers)
 * Install cable containment (tray, trunking, fibre runner)
 * Carry out patching, testing and fault finding
 * Provide on-site support to remote technical teams

Requirements

 * 3+ years' experience in structured cabling / Data Centre environments
