## About the Role

* Sie verfügen über ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der (Wirtschafts-)Informatik oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung sowie bzw. über relevante Berufserfahrung
 * Fundierte Kenntnisse und profunde Berufserfahrung in der Administration von Datenbanksystemen (ORACLE, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL und MySQL/Mariadb)
 * Erfahrung in der Unterstützung der Applikationsverantwortlichen beim Design und Performanceoptimierung
 * Erfahrung mit Backup/Recovery (Oracle RMAN, Snapshots) und Replikationen (Oracle Dataguard, PostgreSQL)
 * Praktischer Umgang mit großen Datenbanksystemen (im Terabyte-Bereich)
 * Sehr gute Kenntnisse der Betriebssysteme SuSE LINUX und Windows und auch des Storagesystems NetApp (Ontap, Data Protection)
 * Scripting in Shell und SQL. Erstellen von Monitoringroutinen im Tool ConSol/OMD sowie Betrieb Oracle Enterprise Manager / Cloudcontrol
 * Teilnahme am Rufbereitschaftsdienst und Übernahme von Tätigkeiten auch außerhalb der regelmäßigen Arbeitszeit

## Description

* Administration von Datenbanksystemen (ORACLE, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL und MySQL/Mariadb)
 * Konzeptionierung und technische Unterstützung der Infrastruktur für Applikationen mit Datenbankzugriffen
 * Beratung und Unterstützung der Kunden sowie der Fachteams bzgl. Datenbanken unter Berücksichtigung der Kundeninfrastruktur
 * Enge Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Infrastruktur-Teams, z.B. OS, Storage, Netz / Verantwortung für die Projektrealisierung und Betriebseinführung neuer Applikationen
 * Auch die Optimierung der IT-Infrastruktur hervorgerufen durch neue Technologien gehören zu Ihren Aufgaben
 * Analyse von Schwachstellen, Fehleranalyse und -behebung sowie Gewährleistung einer kontinuierlichen Performanceoptimierung
 * Mitwirkung bei der Entwicklung von innovativen Konzepten und Unterstützung von Implementierungsprojekten in komplexen Systemlandschaften
 * Definition und Realisierung des Monitorings und Reportings für verschiedene DatenbankPlattformen
 * Sicherstellen eines reibungslosen Datenbank-Betriebs im Team inkl. 2nd & 3rd Level Support und 7x24 Std. Rufbereitschaft
 * Releasemanagement, Migrationen, Upgrades, Hardware/Software-Refreshes / Entwicklung von Verfahren und Automaten, Prozessabläufe, Housekeeping, Patching, Standby/Replication, Security, Backup & Restore
