Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # IT Network Infrastructure Specialist - **Company:** Space Exploration Technologies Corp. - **Location:** Brownsville, TX, United States - **Experience:** Experienced - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Business Process Modeling, Network Planning and Design, Network Protocols, Wide Area Networks, Information Technology - **Published:** August 27, 2026 - **Apply:** https://diversityjobs.com/main/sendform/8/8/28176/1/18094472?backUrl=%2Fcareer%2F18094472%2FIt-Network-Infrastructure-Specialist-Texas-Brownsville ## About the Role * High school diploma or equivalency certificate * 3+ years of experience in OSP and/or ISP fiber detailed design * Experience with wired and wireless voice intercom communication systems PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor's degree in an engineering, technical, or mechanical field * Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols * 3+ years of experience in basic construction techniques and the use of power tools, hand tools, and calibrated tooling * Experience in the space exploration industry, aviation, military or other high-reliability operating environment * Basic experience in project management * Ability to read and understand basic wiring schematics and construction blueprints * Communication skills for relaying data (verbally and in-writing) between other employees and customers * Ability to work effectively in a team environment * Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment, * Availability for overtime hours and weekends, as the schedule varies depending on site operational needs; flexibility is required * Must have valid driver's license. * Availability for occasional travel, as required * Ability to pass Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg * Must be willing to travel (approximately 20%) to other launch sites as necessary ITAR REQUIREMENTS: * To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. * 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. * 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
