This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining modern cloud-native applications while ensuring compliance with U.S. Nuclear Part 810 regulations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on full-stack developer with strong cloud engineering experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for building scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions. Compliance Requirement: Due to U.S. Nuclear Part 810 regulations, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) and must successfully complete the required Nuclear Part 810 background screening. Technical Skills Cloud & Infrastructure * AWS services including: * Lambda * ECS * CloudFormation (CFT) * CloudWatch * S3 * Secrets Manager Docker containerization Git source control and branching strategies Programming & Frameworks * TypeScript * Node.js * Python * Angular * NestJS Database * PostgreSQL * Database schema design (DDL) * Query optimization * Indexing and performance tuning Documentation & Collaboration * Confluence documentation and knowledge management * Experience maintaining accurate technical documentation and architecture artifacts, * 5-7+ years of hands-on software development experience building enterprise-grade applications. * 2+ years of experience developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms, preferably AWS (GCP experience is also valued). Cloud Certification is a plus * Experience working within Agile software development teams. * Experience building AI-enabled applications or integrating Generative AI capabilities into enterprise software. * Familiarity with API Gateway technologies and service mesh architecture. * Experience working in regulated industries (Energy, Utilities, Nuclear, Healthcare, Financial Services)., * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication. * Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Strong collaboration and teamwork skills. * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. * Adaptable with a continuous learning mindset. * Commitment to software quality, security, and operational excellence., * High School Grad / GED * Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience * Experience: 4+ years, * Bachelor's - Information Systems ## Description * Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using modern development frameworks and best practices. * Build secure, reliable, and high-performance backend services using Node.js, NestJS, Python, and TypeScript. * Develop responsive front-end applications using Angular. * Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity. * Develop and deploy applications on AWS using serverless and container-based architectures. * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated deployment processes. * Collaborate with product owners, architects, UX designers, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. * Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions. * Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions. * Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks using Confluence. * Ensure applications adhere to cybersecurity, compliance, and software quality standards required for regulated environments. * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, code reviews, and engineering best practices. * Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development tools, where appropriate., This position assesses, designs, develops, integrates and troubleshoots technology to support business processes.
