This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**, * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree * Demonstrated experience leading technical discussions and determining resolutions to software technical problems * Software development or test experience * Experience with Linux and container administration using Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), RHEL Universal Base Image, or similar Desired Skills * Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams * Experience communicating infrastructure designs, network topology, and security baselines to software engineers * Ability to present system architecture, modernization roadmaps, and platform stability status to customers and engineering/program management * Experience with infrastructure as code using Helm or similar software * Experience with DevOps and CI/CD * Experience with Java and JavaScript microservices-based application architectures * Experience with platform and service mesh to architect and manage enterprise container orchestrators (Red Hat OpenShift, Enterprise Kubernetes, or similar) and service mesh fabrics (OpenShift Service Mesh, Istio, or similar) * Experience configuring, deploying, and managing Free and Open-Source Software (FOSS) Authentication stacks (Keycloak and OAuth2-proxy or similar) for securing containerized microservices * Experience with caching, in-memory databases, and relational databases, including Redis, Valkey, and PostgreSQL * Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools ## Description The F-35 Mission Data organization is in need of an Infrastructure Lead to drive the technical direction of our deployment environments and microservices tool stack on the Common Reprogramming Tool (CRT). The CRT will effectively provide our customers with a more efficient, robust approach to rapidly reprogram Mission Data Files (MDFs) for F-35 mission operations. As the infrastructure lead, the selected candidate will be responsible for driving the technical direction of our deployment environments and microservices tool stack.
