## Description

Looking for an Embedded Software Engineer 2 to support Caterpillar's autonomous mining haulage systems. The engineer will work with the system integration team on robotics, autonomy, electronic systems, requirements, troubleshooting, and system-level design. Key Responsibilities

 * Support onboard system design for autonomous haulage machines.
 * Analyze requirements and develop technical solutions.
 * Evaluate design tradeoffs, risks, and benefits.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues.
 * Coordinate with software, hardware, validation, and engineering teams.
 * Create technical/design documentation.
 * Support hardware integration and validation activities.
 * Work with global teams and occasional customer/proving-ground sites.
