This is a 6+ month contract or short term employment arrangement. The position will manage multiple IT projects/programs simultaneously. Duties include exploring technologies, contract development, developing and managing plans to meet projects' goals, building and maintaining project timeframes working closely with team members; and coordinating team members and processes to keep project on time, within scope and a budget. The successful candidate will have proven working experience in managing projects in the information technology area and ability to use project management skills for other, non-technology projects using project management tools, developing schedules and coordinating meetings. Working in a small office, the project manager will also assist in tasks to ensure completion. The ideal candidate should have 3 years of project management experience with information technology projects and other special projects and a technology background. Ultimately, a successful project manager will timely advance the organization's strategic objectives. Responsibilities: * Building and review of contracts and scope of work documents * Setting project scope and objectives and developing a plan to meet those objectives * Ensuring projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budgets * Managing resources for projects, such as computer equipment and staff * Coordinating project team members and developing individual responsibilities * Serving as a working team member, completing assigned project tasks * Mastering understanding of programs to capture requirements and goals * Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence * Conducting risk assessments for projects * Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress * Maintaining project documentation, * This is a part-time position for at least 6 months.
