## About the Role

The successful candidate has a BSEE, BSME, or equivalent and 8+ years of reliability engineering experience in the design of electrical and electromechanical assemblies. An MS in Reliability Engineering and experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) design are a plus.  * Ability to facilitate Design FMEA (DFMEA) activities.
 * Experience with environmental stress testing and failure analysis to root cause.
 * Hands-on experience with Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT).
 * Experience applying statistical methods for accelerated life testing and component evaluation.
 * Experience designing test fixtures and developing test procedures.
 * Working knowledge of test equipment and instrumentation (e.g., oscilloscopes, DMMs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators) with the ability to set up tests and write clear test reports.
 * Experience applying Design for Reliability (DfR/DFR) guidelines.
 * Proficiency with component derating and application.
 * Working knowledge of reliability budgeting, estimating, and reliability growth methods.
 * Ability to apply redundancy and fault-tolerant design techniques.
 * Understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance concepts.
 * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, statistical software, and reliability tools (e.g., Weibull++, BlockSim, Alta preferred) as well as Ansys Sherlock and Ansys Mechanical.
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence and persuade.
 * High energy with strong presentation and training skills.
 * Ability to travel approximately 10%.
