* 3-4+ years of Lead Engineer or Engineering Leadership experience

 * Experience owning products/applications end-to-end

 * Strong experience developing mobile applications for Android & iOS

 * Hands-on experience with .NET MAUI or Xamarin

 * Strong JavaScript/TypeScript development experience

 * Experience building applications with React and/or React Native

 * Backend development experience with Node.js

 * Understanding of REST APIs and mobile application architecture

 * Experience publishing and maintaining applications in App Store and Google Play Store

 * QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) or Retail industry experience is required

 * Experience leading, mentoring, and managing engineering teams

 * Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills

 * Ability to work onsite in San Antonio, TX * Experience with Redux or other state management solutions

 * CI/CD pipeline experience for mobile applications

 * Experience with restaurant technology or digital ordering platforms

 * Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Claude

 * React Native migration experience

 * Advanced mobile performance optimization expertise

## Description

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Full Stack Mobile Engineer (Android/iOS) for a leading client in the QSR and restaurant technology space. This individual will take ownership of the organization's customer-facing mobile ordering applications and play a critical role in shaping the future of the platform. The ideal candidate will lead the migration from an existing .NET MAUI environment to a modern React/React Native and Node.js architecture while remaining heavily involved in hands-on development. This position requires a proven technical leader who can mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and deliver high-quality mobile experiences for customers. The role offers the opportunity to influence product strategy, lead a distributed engineering team, and build innovative digital ordering solutions that directly impact the customer experience.
