We have a strong interest in engineers with Nutanix experience, but Nutanix experience or certification is not required for every opportunity. We also want to hear from accomplished VMware and enterprise virtualization/HCI professionals with strong, transferable skills across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and datacenter infrastructure. Engineers with strong virtualization and HCI fundamentals can transition those skills to the Nutanix technology stack, and opportunities may include training and certification aligned with customer and engagement requirements. Our engineers support a variety of customer requirements-from short-term professional services and modernization projects to mid- and long-term Resident Engineer assignments embedded with customer teams. This is an evergreen recruiting opportunity intended to develop relationships with cleared infrastructure professionals for current and future CriticalTilt engagements throughout CONUS. The locations associated with this posting represent key recruiting markets where CriticalTilt anticipates customer demand. Candidates located elsewhere in the United States are also encouraged to apply. What You'll Do Responsibilities will vary by customer and engagement and may include: - Design, deploy, configure, administer, optimize, and troubleshoot enterprise virtualization and hyperconverged infrastructure - Support Nutanix AHV and HCI environments, as well as VMware and other enterprise virtualization technologies - Assist customers with infrastructure modernization, platform migrations, technology refreshes, and virtualization or HCI transformation - Assess existing environments and develop technical recommendations, implementation approaches, and migration strategies - Support enterprise compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and associated infrastructure services - Support container and application-platform technologies such as Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker - Perform system configuration, security hardening, patching, vulnerability remediation, and lifecycle management - Support vulnerability-management and remediation activities within federal security and compliance environments - Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, virtualization, storage, compute, networking, and platform issues - Work collaboratively with customer engineering, operations, cybersecurity, program, and mission teams - Develop and maintain technical documentation, implementation procedures, configuration information, operational guidance, and knowledge-transfer materials - Support federal and DoD security requirements, change-control processes, compliance activities, and operational procedures - Serve as a trusted technical resource during project-based engagements or as an embedded Resident Engineer supporting longer-term customer requirements, CriticalTilt supports federal customers through multiple delivery models. Opportunities may include: - Short-term professional services and specialized engineering engagements - Infrastructure implementation and modernization projects - Virtualization and HCI migrations and technology refreshes - Platform assessments and optimization - Specialized troubleshooting and engineering support - Mid- to long-term Resident Engineer assignments - Ongoing engineering and operational support Engagements may be onsite, hybrid, or remote, depending on customer and mission requirements. Some opportunities may require periodic travel, while longer-term Resident Engineer assignments may require sustained onsite support or relocation.
