Preferred Qualifications * Experience using GitHub or GitLab for code reviews, documentation, and release management. * Ability to learn core Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies such as EC2, EBS volumes, S3, and CloudWatch. * Ability to learn DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Vagrant, and Packer. * Interest and experience in open source software development. * An active government security clearance of TS or higher. ## Description Build software that solves challenging, real-world problems. At Kitware, you'll work alongside researchers and engineers to turn cutting-edge computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence research into robust software solutions. Your work won't be limited to theoretical problems or prototypes. Depending on the project, you could contribute to technologies involving 3D reconstruction, object detection, image manipulation detection, motion pattern learning, and anomaly detection. You'll have opportunities to work directly with customers, participate in live field tests and demonstrations, contribute to open source software, and see how the software you build performs in real-world environments. If you're a strong C++ and Python developer who enjoys solving difficult technical problems and collaborating with people across disciplines, this role offers an opportunity to put those skills to work on projects with meaningful impact.
