* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience

 * 3+ years of experience in software development or site reliability

 * Troubleshooting and crisis response capabilities

 * Broad software development capabilities from scripting to application development to infrastructure as code

 * Strong communication skills

## Description

* Contribute to the development and maintenance of FNBO's monitoring ecosystem. This includes implementing monitoring frameworks, dashboards, alerting, and tooling for proactive issue detection and resolution, plus advancing monitoring-as-code practices

 * Partner with application and platform teams to improve service reliability, observability, and overall system health

 * Support the growth and evolution of the Site Reliability Engineering practice at FNBO, embracing engineering-first approaches to operational challenges

 * Participate in incident response for high-severity events, contributing technical expertise to drive rapid resolution and minimize customer impact

 * Apply infrastructure-as-code principles to improve consistency, repeatability, and scalability

 * Identify and reduce toil through automation and process improvement, freeing capacity for higher-value engineering work

 * Participate in post-incident reviews and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions

 * Assist in analyzing system performance trends and capacity utilization, helping surface actionable improvement opportunities, It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are.
