## About the Role

* B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent; advanced degree a plus.
 * 5+ years' experience developing back-end applications.
 * 2+ years' experience developing microservices for very large-scale, real-time distributed systems (millions of users with thousands of concurrent accesses).
 * Experience developing microservices on AWS, Azure, or similar platforms.
 * Experience with cloud-based distributed application scaling & data processing.
 * Experience using and developing REST APIs, using tools such as RAML and Swagger / OpenAPI.
 * Working knowledge of Java, JSON, and Web Sockets.
 * Familiarity with Agile software development methodology.
 * Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
 * Strong sense of ownership, passionate, fast learner, detail-oriented, analytical mindset, perfection seeker.
